I have done one year of 3 days a week personal training sessions, constant calorie counting, and off day cardio. I lost half as much weight doing that as I did with 14 months of Mounjaro and walking. I did have a little bit of acid reflux at first but that was an issue I already had previously. I think my only downside is the reduced desire for socially going out to eat. So far I’m down 75 lbs and have another 20-25 lbs to go.

I started my weight loss journey with Mounjaro approximately 6 months ago. I have Type 2 diabetes and have been using Mounjaro 5 mg for over a year now. The injection s are painless. I can go much longer without eating and get full before finishing my plate, so it’s easy to consume fewer calories. . I am menopausal and was gaining weight before, despite having my diabetes under control. I lost 20 pounds pretty effortlessly on Mounjato and have kept it off. I do not experience nausea unless I eat a large portion of a fatty food, which I have learned not to do.

It has helped me get my weight back to a manageable weight…it has also improved my sleep and energy…has curved my appetite immensly…I have experienced no side effects whatsoever…I started at 2.5 and worked my way up to 15…the only downside for me was the lack of availability at times and needing to wait to get the prescription filled and of course the cost…

Overall I really love mounjaro. It’s an easy to use pen that doesn’t have too many directions. I like that you do not have to put the needle in… I also like that the pen does the medication injection with just one click.
